Shoprite and Checkers’ private label products just scooped first place in seven categories at the 192nd SA Dairy Championships, including top honours for Crystal Valley Medium Fat Maas (produced by Douglasdale) as well as first time entrant, Forage and Feast Double Cream Yoghurt Green Melon & Mint (produced by Lactalis).
The other winners are:
- Royale Full Cream Mixed Fruit & Custard Yoghurt, Dairy Corporation
- Forage and Feast Mozzarella Di Bufala, Zandam Cheese
- Crystal Valley Low fat UHT Milk, Dewfresh
- Crystal Valley Fat Free UHT Milk, Dewfresh
- Crystal Valley Low Fat Chunky Cottage Cheese Chives, Lancewood
Shoprite and Checkers’ private label products just scooped first place in seven categories at the 192nd SA Dairy Championships, including top honours for first time entrant, Forage and Feast Double Cream Yoghurt Green Melon & Mint (produced by Lactalis).
An additional 13 products from the Checkers Housebrand, Shoprite Ritebrand and Usave Ubrand ranges, were acknowledged with 2nd and 3rd place awards.
A record-breaking 1 110 dairy products were entered for the 2025 edition of the SA Dairy Championships - the country’s largest, oldest, and most prestigious dairy accolades.
