SPAR launches limited-edition 100% Long-Life Fruit Juice Cartons celebrating women across South Africa

SPAR is introducing limited-edition packaging across its SPAR 100% Long-Life Fruit Juice range, bringing a bold and inspiring new look to store shelves while celebrating the strength, resilience and achievements of women across South Africa.

Rolling out nationally from March to October 2026, the refreshed cartons feature handwritten-style messages of affirmations designed to uplift and inspire shoppers with every purchase. Messages such as “You are Powerful”, “You are Fierce”, “You are Radiant”, and “You are Brave” transform an everyday grocery item into a moment of encouragement and positivity.

The limited-edition packaging forms part of SPAR’s broader #CelebrateHer Women’s Challenge Campaign, connecting directly to once of South Africa’s most iconic and mass-participation road races.  

For more than three decades, the SPAR Women’s Challenge has inspired and united women across the country, attracting thousands of participants annually across multiple provinces. The 2026 theme, #CelebrateHer, honours the courage, compassion, ambition and influence of women in communities across South Africa.

For the first time, the spirit of this event is being brought directly into SPAR stores through the packaging of one of the retailer’s most trusted and loved private label products.

Each limited-edition carton features motivational messages of affirmation on the front of pack, while the back of the pack tells the story and unpacks the essence behind of the SPAR Women’s Challenge and encourages SPAR shoppers to participate in their local race events.

These limited-edition packs are designed to uplift, inspire and remind women that their stories and achievements matter.”

The initiative also reinforces the strength of SPAR’s Private Label portfolio, using purposeful design to increase on-shelf visibility while strengthening the connection between SPAR products and the communities they serve.

The packaging is made using FSC‑certified materials, supporting responsible sourcing, and all our cartons are recyclable, including both the cap and the carton.

As these limited-edition packs roll out nationally, SPAR aims to transform a familiar household product into a daily reminder that every woman deserves to be recognised and celebrated.

Because sometimes inspiration can be found in the most unexpected places, even on the shelf of your local SPAR.
