Gen Alpha is a rapidly growing and influential generation, while Millennial parents remain the primary decision-makers and are becoming more selective about products that support their children's health and development.

Consumer research by Mintel Data (2025) highlights that these parents are seeking offerings that go beyond taste, with greater emphasis on nutrition, immune support and everyday convenience, alongside rising demand for functional products for kids aged 5-12.

This shift is further reinforced by strong category momentum, with Circana Data (2025) showing year-on-year volume growth of 5.9% and total value growth of 11.3% in flavoured milk, signalling a clear opportunity for Milki to adopt a more targeted, relevant brand proposition.

By narrowing its audience, Milki can deliver a clearer, single-minded message supported by packaging and positioning that appeals to both kids and parents, bridging indulgence with health-conscious benefits to maximise long-term growth.
