The Gut Health Association of South Africa is thrilled to announce the success of our inaugural participation in the Good Life, Plant Power, and Free From Show held at Kyalami from 26th to 28th July.

This event marked a significant milestone for our association, and we are proud to share the highlights of our achievement.

Joining forces with esteemed members such as Numesa Kefir, Gut Bar, Jackson's Real Food Market, Ms Sweetheart, Collen's Homemade Sauces, ONE Life Health Shop, Che Gourmet, and Hoopy Play, we showcased a diverse range of products and services dedicated to promoting gut health. Each of these businesses plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing gut health through their unique offerings.

The event was an overwhelming success, drawing in health enthusiasts, industry professionals, and curious attendees eager to learn more about the benefits of maintaining a healthy gut. Our booth was abuzz with activity as visitors engaged with our members, sampled products, and gained insights into the importance of gut health.

"We are incredibly pleased with the response we received at the Good Life, Plant Power, and Free From Show," said Bronwen del Paggio, founder of the Gut Health Association of South Africa. "Our participation provided us with an excellent platform to educate the public about the significance of gut health and to introduce them to our fantastic members who are leading the way in this field."

Highlights of the event included live demonstrations, informative talks, and interactive sessions where attendees could ask questions and receive personalized advice on improving their gut health. Our talk on Sunday, delivered by Gary Jackson and Bronwen del Paggio, titled "Why do we need a Gut Health Association in SA?" was particularly well-received, emphasizing the importance of gut health and the role our association plays in guiding the public towards gut-friendly products and services.

Mission Statement:

GUT HEALTH SA’s mission is to teach everyone how to achieve wellness by looking after their gut through education, training, and identification of products and services that align with our core mandate. The gut is very important to overall wellness, and most illnesses and diseases start in the gut. Our association aims to make the journey to a balanced gut easy with events, workshops, and corporate wellness days where we incorporate easy-to-implement wellness practices.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our members and partners who contributed to making this event a success. Their dedication and passion for gut health were evident in every interaction and presentation. We also thank the organizers of the Good Life, Plant Power, and Free From Show for providing us with the opportunity to be part of such a remarkable event.

The Gut Health Association of South Africa remains dedicated to advocating for better gut health through education, collaboration, and community engagement. We are particularly excited to partner with corporations to help them support the wellness of their employees. We invite corporate leaders to get in touch with us to learn more about how we can assist in promoting gut health within their organizations through tailored wellness programs, workshops, and events.
