This comes after the Shoprite Group unveiled 16 new shopping destinations within a single week, significantly enhancing their presence across the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and Gauteng provinces.

This latest expansion has not only broadened the variety of shopping options available but has also created 358 new job opportunities for eager job seekers in these regions.

The latest addition to the retail giant’s portfolio, which opened its doors on 31 July, is the flagship Checkers Fresh X located at the prestigious Hyde Park Corner shopping centre in Sandton.

Positioned strategically to cater to a discerning clientele, this state-of-the-art supermarket promises a fresh and convenient shopping experience, complete with an innovative store design.

Featuring an easy-to-navigate layout, customers at Checkers Fresh X can now explore a vast array of both local and international products tailored to their everyday grocery needs.
