Cavendish shopping just got better with Checkers
Checkers continues to expand its footprint in Cape Town's southern suburbs, with its long-awaited supermarket opening in Cavendish Square last week.
The store offers a wide range of in-store departments including a meat market with free-range chicken and restaurant-quality steak, hot & cold foods deli, bakery with artisan breads, the freshest fruit & vegetables, Money Market services, and a coffee bar.
Checkers Cavendish Square created 38 new jobs, and is managed by Rubin Louw, a seasoned manager who joined the business in 2014 and has since held several management roles.
Trading hours are Monday to Sunday from 08:00 – 20:00.
