Woolworths Wbeauty launches refillable make-up colour options

| News

In an innovative move to reduce unnecessary packaging and promoting a culture of re-use, Woolworths is proud to announce the launch of the WBeauty refillable make-up range, in eyeshadows, bronzers, powdered blushers, pressed powders and shimmer bricks.

This initiative is a significant milestone in Woolworths’ ongoing commitment to sustainability and aligns with the retailer's Good Business Journey and vision for zero packaging waste to landfill.

“By introducing refillable options, we are not only providing our customers with exceptional quality products but also taking a definitive step towards reducing unnecessary packaging. Additionally, all Woolworths beauty products are made with ethically sourced ingredients, are 100% vegan, and endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty, ensuring that our WBeauty range not only makes our customers look and feel good, but also contributes to a more sustainable future,” says Laura Naidu, Woolworths Beauty Head of Technology and Sourcing.

The WBeauty refillable range offers customers the flexibility to interchange the various shades and is compatible with WBeauty’s existing six-pan eyeshadow palette. This allows customers the opportunity to replace the three godettes inside with any of the new refills. The range comes in attractive packaging of card boxes and paper sleeves that are all recyclable.

Eyeshadows
The new eyeshadow collection features rich pigmented powder blends that can be easily applied with a damp or dry brush for a soft, velvety finish. These eyeshadows are long-wearing, crease-resistant, and blend effortlessly, providing a luxurious experience that is also gentle on the skin.

Pressed Powders
The pressed powders boast an ultra-fine, lightweight texture that minimises shine and creates a fresh, flawless matte finish. Designed to control oil and shine without drying the skin, these powders are fragrance-free and provide a lightweight feel that is also soft on the skin.

Bronzer

Non-drying bronzing powder adds youthful radiance to all complexions with a natural-looking luminosity for an all-over sun-kissed glow and a velvety finish. Lightweight and comfortable, this bronzer enhances skin with a touch of warmth.

Blush

Formulated from sparkly, micro-milled powders, this blusher is designed to add colour and definition to cheeks. The lightweight powder delivers natural all-day colour, blending effortlessly for an even, radiant glow that enhances skin tone.

Shimmer Brick

Achieve a high-impact iridescent glow, giving skin an instant boost of radiance and comfort all day long. Formulated with superfine pigments that reflect radiance and light for a soft-focus glow and a luminous finish.

All WBeauty colour shades draw inspiration from the diversity of South Africa, offering a custom-designed range that caters to a wide variety of skin tones while contributing to a greener planet.

The WBeauty refillable make-up range is now available at selected Woolworths stores nationwide and online: www.woolworths.co.za.
