SPAR shoppers stand to win 55 cars in Super Savings Campaign

| News

For many South Africans, making every rand count while putting good food on the table has become part of everyday life. Retailers that can deliver real value continue to play an important role in helping households manage their budgets, and SPAR’s well-known Super Savings campaign have long been a way for shoppers to stretch their grocery spend further.

This year, those savings come with an exciting added incentive, as customers who shop the deals stand the chance to drive away in one of 55 brand-new Hyundai Exters.

Through the SPAR Win a Car competition, everyday shopping could turn into an extraordinary moment. Customers who take advantage of Super Savings products and simply swipe their SPAR Rewards card at checkout will automatically be entered into the competition, giving them the chance to win one of 55 Hyundai Exter vehicles being given away during the campaign. The initiative reinforces the campaign’s central message that at SPAR, every shop is a win, rewarding shoppers who are already making smart choices in-store.

“Many of our customers visit SPAR several times a week for their everyday needs shop,” says Mpudi Maubane National PR, Communications & Sponsorships Manager at The SPAR Group. “What makes this campaign exciting is that something as simple as your regular grocery shopping could put you behind the wheel of a brand-new car Hyundai Exter. It’s about turning everyday value into extraordinary rewards, moments that we love creating for our customers” Maubane continues.

A total of 50 vehicles will be given away through weekly draws, rewarding shoppers who take advantage of in-store value. Of these, 44 cars are reserved for SPAR and SPAR2U customers, while six will be won by TOPS at SPAR shoppers, with all TOPS winners selected in the final week.

Beyond the weekly draws, shoppers will have even more opportunities to win through SPAR’s broader retail network. An additional five guaranteed vehicles will be awarded at the end of the competition through various SPAR sub-brands, including TOPS online, SPAR Express, SPAR2U, Pharmacy at SPAR, and SaveMor, ensuring that customers across the SPAR ecosystem are part of the excitement.

“The heart of the campaign remains SPAR’s commitment to delivering meaningful value. Super Savings continue to highlight products that offer real savings on everyday household essentials, giving customers the chance to shop smarter while still enjoying the convenience and quality they expect from SPAR” Maubane concludes. At SPAR, every grocery shopping is more than just savings, it’s a real chance to drive away a winner. Customers can visit their nearest participating SPAR store or shop via SPAR2U to take part. The competition is open for a limited time, and terms and conditions apply.

For a few lucky shoppers, those everyday savings could ultimately lead to something far bigger - the keys to a brand-new Hyundai Exter and the start of a memorable journey, all thanks to a simple shop, swipe and be rewarded.
