New additions to Woolworths’ Easy Range makes comfort food simple this winter

| News

Winter is all about cosy nights in, warm, hearty meals and days in bed, snuggled under the covers.

It’s also days of being too cold to cook and remembering that Woolworths has a brand-new range of convenient meals that take less time to prepare than they do to eat.

A warm bowl of soup is undoubtedly a winter staple. The South African Beef and amadombolo soup bowl does the trick, bringing together a fresh beef soup with amadombolo, carrots, spinach and mushrooms. And if the cooler months call for a little more heat, the Asian style chicken potsticker soup bowl provides a fresh, spicy and fragrant miso broth with chicken potstickers, slaw and a chilli crisp.

Nothing says hearty quite like a flavourful curry or stew. Dig into the Free-Range Chicken Stew – boasting succulent chicken drumsticks made in a rich tomato gravy with carrots and cabbage. It’s best served with creamy samp, beans and fresh baby marrows, with a dollop of chutney.

If duck is your favourite winter indulgence, try the Free-Range Confit Duck Curry. Made from slow-cooked, partly deboned duck in a curry flavoured duck fat, the rich flavours and extra tenderness are prioritised, with the meat simply falling off the bone. Finish off with a double cream yoghurt, sambals and mini bread loaves or dombolo.

Spend more time warming up with loved ones this chilly season, by enjoying the Woolworths oven-ready, hassle-free and flop-proof range – comfort food has never been this easy!
