Staycold International Extend Their Carbon Edition Range

| Ivana | Partner Content

Staycold International have through the year, extended the black finish as a variation to their stand-alone coolers and freezers in their manufacturing process.

This carbon edition range has been well accepted by the market, since the launch of their flagship model, the SD1140-CE in September last year. Requests came to offer this look in more of their cabinets and Staycold were able to respond, at their factory in Parys, South Africa.

The carbon edition range has a more exclusive, premier look to it with the sides, header panel and interior of the unit in black. The coolers also use hydrocarbon refrigeration gas (R290), a more eco-friendly gas and this together with the appearance, has been attracting dealers as well as corporates and bottlers in South Africa, who have expressed positive feedback.

One dealer who supplies restaurant chains in South Africa, sourced the carbon edition coolers and freezers for 13 Bossa restaurant around South Africa. Each use Staycold coolers and freezers, and now also Staycold’s carbon edition coolers and freezers. Comments were received that the sleek black finish on the carbon edition range has become a popular choice for businesses seeking to upgrade their commercial environments. Their modern, sophisticated design also prioritizes sustainability, important in helping to minimise the global footprint.

Staycold has a warehouse full of carbon edition units in stock, in nine different models of their upright display units. These are available either with hinge or sliding doors, single or double doors, and temperature wise, as coolers, sub-zero coolers or display freezers. Venues, shops, restaurants, bottlers and corporates in South Africa, Africa and the UK, who wish to have the unit stand out in a classy environment stylishly display more beverages or frozen food, are now able to access this range.

The units also feature high energy efficient fans, Danfoss digital energy management device, Low E-Glass doors and ECOMate® Insulation foam, all of which further assists with reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Lena le Roux, MD of Staycold International also commented: “Staycold has been making strides this year in many key areas such as our carbon edition range, expanding our hydrocarbon manufacturing abilities,  and also manufacturing our fast lane cooler for large global bottlers. This all with the purpose of promoting the customers product to its full potential, and the carbon edition range certainly helps do this.”
