Collect, learn and win with Checkers little shop

The world’s biggest little craze has come to South Africa!! Checkers is introducing its Little Shop Mini Collectables in stores across the country, for the first time ever, from Monday 4 July 2016.

The retailer has shrunk 29 of South Africa’s most recognisable brands like All Gold Tomato Sauce, OMO washing powder and Sunlight Liquid into an exciting, fun and educational promotion that everyone can take part in.

The best part is that all you have to do to start collecting the Checkers Little Shop mini’s is to head down to your nearest Checkers or Checkers Hyper store, where shoppers will be rewarded with a free Little Shop mini for every R150 spent in-store from Monday 4 July 2016.

Now, you can collect, swap and share some of South Africa’s most iconic brands found in the supermarket that consistently brings them to you at little prices.

What’s more is that Checkers Little Shop is aiming to inspire South Africa’s young entrepreneurs through its Little Shop All Stars competition. The first 25 learners to complete their Checkers Little Shop collections will stand a chance of winning R10,000 for themselves and R10,000 for their schools. So, you need to hurry to claim one of these limited prizes. You can enter online by checking out the Checkers Little Shop website at http://www.checkers.co.za/little-shop.html

Checkers Little Shop is encouraging learners to channel their inner business mogul by thinking of creative ways to complete their collections. Tips on how to develop their negotiation skills in order to swap and trade mini’s with their friends will all be available on the Checkers Little Shop Website.

A range of Checkers Little Shop merchandise, such as mini trolleys, baskets and store fronts will be available for sale in stores for customers wanting to create the complete Little Shop experience. There is even a unique Checkers Little Shop collectables case to keep your collection in so that it is easy to take it anywhere.  Whether you’re playing ‘Little Shop’ and assigning pretend prices to purchases or trying to hunt down your favourite mini to complete your collection, there is endless fun to be had with Checkers Little Shop for young and old.

Customers are urged to keep watching the Checkers Little Shop website and Facebook page for more fun and exciting developments that will be revealed along the way.

Checkers Little Shop is available from 4 July 2016 and while stocks last, exclusively at Checkers and Checkers Hyper Stores nationwide.
