Checkers launches private label, banting-friendly range

| Innovation and technology

Checkers launches an exclusive, banting-friendly product range specifically with consumers’ needs in mind. Each of the products in the Banting Revolution range, available only from Checkers, contains less than 5g carbohydrate per serving.

The extensive range includes everything from carb conscious pork sausages (high in fat and gluten free); cauliflower mash (made with real butter and ready in minutes) and three different flavoured sparkling waters (sugar- and preservative free).

Those who love their baked goods are in for a treat, thanks to the Banting Revolution’s bread mix (gluten- and sugar-free); almond flour and coconut flour (both gluten free) and the sugar-free alternatives, stevia and xylitol.

The Banting Revolution also includes an apple cider vinegar, which has deservedly become a kitchen staple thanks to its wide-ranging health benefits, and psyllium husks, an increasingly popular food supplement.

Checkers will always be guided by what its customers want, and as such health and wellness has become an integral part of the retailer’s product offering.

The first 22 Banting Revolution products will be available in Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores nationwide, with additional products to follow early in the new year.
