Uber Gift cards now available at Pick n Pay stores

Everyone loves convenience and reliability, which is why Uber has made it even easier to get a ride or grab a bite. Shoppers are now able to purchase Uber gift cards for both Uber RIDES and UberEATS orders at Pick n Pay stores.

Whether it’s a ride across the city or your favourite UberEATS meal delivered at Uber speed, Uber is making it even easier to get what you want, when you want it.

Uber is excited to announce that Uber gift cards are now available at Pick n Pay stores. Running out of ideas for that perfect birthday present? Want to ensure that your loved ones have a safe ride home? Don’t feel like carrying cash? An Uber gift card is your answer!

Uber gift cards are available in R100 and R200 amounts and if the ride fee or UberEATS fee is less than the value on the card, the remaining amount can be used on the next ride or EATS purchase.

Jonathan Ayache at General Manager Uber South Africa says, “Uber is committed to convenience, whether it’s getting a meal that’s quick and easy, or requesting a ride at the tap of a button. We’re delighted to make Uber more accessible with the introduction of Uber gift cards.”

Loading the gift card on your app is easy and uncomplicated. Below are a few quick steps to loading gift cards that are directly redeemable through the app.
