Aldi uncorks range of half-bottle wines

| International retailers

Aldi has launched a range of half-sized wine bottles in the UK, as it looks to attract a wider set of consumers. The range of 37.5cl bottles (all £2.99) includes a Romanian Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir, as well as a Malbec from Chile.

Julie Ashfield, MD of corporate buying at Aldi, noted: “With more and more consumers opting for a healthier lifestyle, they are a great way to still enjoy a midweek tipple with dinner, without needing to open a whole 75cl bottle of wine”.
