Tesco Supplier Network Launched

Tesco has announced the launch of a new Supplier Network, an interactive online platform aimed at driving collaboration with its suppliers. .

Building on the success of the group’s Knowledge Hub and Producer Network, Tesco said that is hoping the online community will give it the opportunity improve its communication with suppliers and producers from around the world. They will be encouraged to share ideas and to drive sustainability and innovation, both throughout the retailer’s supply chain and in its products.

Supplier Network members will able to learn more about Tesco’s strategy and be able to connect directly with Tesco buying teams and find peers facing similar sustainability challenges, for example with products at different lifecycle stages or on issues such as energy and food waste. Tesco said that the site will also help members to harness shared buying power and innovation resources.
