Tesco to offer Online Beauty Consultations

Tesco is to launch one-to-one live online beauty consultations as part of its drive to increase customer engagement and enhance brand loyalty. .

A report by Marketing Week said that the retailer will utilise the Google + Hangouts service to enable consumers to book 20 minute online video sessions through the Tesco Living website. Users will then be able to chat with beauty and make-up experts.

“The launch of beauty hangouts as part of our marketing strategy will continue to drive the growth of the beauty category within Tesco,” said Mark Baxter, Global Category Marketing Manager at Tesco.
