The SPAR Group set to transform KZN business with appointment of Damon Harry

The SPAR Group South Africa has appointed Damon Harry as Divisional Managing Director for SPAR KwaZulu-Natal. Harry replaces Angelo Swartz, who was recently appointed CEO for The SPAR Group.

An exceptional leader with a relentless commitment to excellence and passion for nurturing high-performing teams, Harry has 20 years of experience in the retail industry, spanning both the food and textiles sectors.

Most recently, Harry served in an international capacity as General Manager for the Country Road Group of South Africa.

Max Oliva, Chief Executive Officer of SPAR South Africa says, “Damon’s deep-rooted industry knowledge and history of running successful retail stores and corporate divisions, make him an invaluable addition to the SPAR family. Harry holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business and Marketing.
