Heeding calls from customers as well as educational and remedial institutions, Checkers has launched an all new collection of Little Shop 2 mini collectibles which will be available in stores from Friday, 26

Checkers has shrunk 30 of South Africa’s most recognisable brands to launch a new set of collectibles following the huge response to Little Shop last year.

Customers, educators and therapists have even been asking for specific brands, so a number of iconic South African products such as Zoo biscuits, Ouma rusks and even You magazine have been included in the Little Shop 2 collection. 

Checkers will be handing over Little Shop 2 collectibles to learning institutions which have been or wish to use minis in their curriculums. Institutions can submit their details on the Checkers website and those with the best motivations could be in line to receive Little Shop 2 mini collectibles.

To start collecting, customers simply need to visit their nearest Checkers or Checkers Hyper store, where they will be rewarded with a free Little Shop 2 mini product for every R150 spent in-store. 

Handy collectables cases, Little Shop counters, mini trolleys and shopping baskets, as well as aprons, are available for those wishing to create the complete Little Shop experience. 

Customers are also encouraged to keep an eye on the Checkers website, where educational material for budding young entrepreneurs will again be made available as well as handy downloadable tools such as till slips and price tags for those children wishing to create their own shops. They will also be able to find information on events and swap days.

There are some big prizes up for grabs with Little Shop 2. Twenty lucky customers who find a mini golden trolley will each win a trolley dash worth R5 000. Plus customers who buy any three participating brands stand a chance to win one of 10 000 double sets of movie tickets or even a trip to Disneyland, Paris. 

The Little Shop 2 promotion is running from Friday, 26 May 2017 until stocks last, exclusively at Checkers and Checkers Hyper Stores nationwide.
