Digital trends of the global food system under focus

ifood - the Innovation Food Conference - is being held at Anuga for the second time. Once again, the German Institute for Food Technologies (DIL) is organising this international and first-class dialogue platform at the leading global trade fair for food and beverages.

This year representatives from the industry, the trade and the research sector will be discussing the so-called food mega trends on 9 October 2017. Experts from the international food industry from IBM Research, Unilever, Fraunhofer, METRO, Alibaba, the BVE and many other companies are expected to attend. The aim: To jointly work out approaches for the development of efficient value chains, which provide sustainable and attractive products. The leading trend researcher, Hanni Rützler, will host the around 200 guests through the iFood Conference and accompany the event with her expertise.

Rodrigue, Business Development Executive, IBM Research, Karl Wehner, Director of Business Development, Alibaba, Jochen Weiss, Vice President for Research, University of Hohenheim, Konstantin Bark, Media Relations Manager, Unilever, Dr. Klemens van Betteray, Vice President, CSB System AG, Fabio Ziemßen, Head of Food Innovation and Food-Tech, METRO AG Wholesale & Food Specialist Company, as well as Dr. Mark Bücking, Head of Department Environmental & Food Analysis, Fraunhofer Institute of Molecular Biology.
